We spend countless hours coding hosting software and API integrations like you’ve never seen before. One such functionality is our ‘account linker’ tool which provides one client access to the Plesk account of another without having to keep track of each account’s login details. Here’s how it works!

If you’re a web developer that wishes to gain access to the Plesk account of one of your newly signed-up clients, proceed as follows to create the necessary link:

  1. Either ask your client to, or login to the Client Centre as them and proceed to: My Account > Linked Accounts
  2. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see the option to create a new link. Enter the email address of the account that is gaining access, then choose the hosting account for which they should have access from the drop down. It will be selected by default if there is only one such account.
  3. Click the “Grant Access” button

That’s it! You should now be able to log in to your primary account, head to My Account > Linked Accounts and you’ll see the link in place alongside a button to access Plesk.
