Privacy Policy

Websavers Inc, (“The Company”) is committed to respecting your online privacy and recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) you share with us.

Websavers Inc has established this Online Privacy Policy so that you can understand the care with which we intend to treat your Personal Information.

General

Personal Information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home or other physical address and an email address or other contact information, whether at work or at home. In general, you can visit Websavers Inc’s web pages without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself. If you choose to provide us with your Personal Information on the Web (such as by signing up as a customer or commenting on our blog), we may transfer that Information within Websavers Inc or to Websavers Inc’ third-party service providers, across borders, and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world.

Websavers Inc strives to comply with all applicable laws around the globe that are designed to protect your privacy. Although legal requirements may vary from country to country, Websavers Inc intends to adhere to the principles set forth in this Online Privacy Policy even if, in connection with the above, we transfer your Personal Information from your country to countries that may not require an “adequate” level of protection for your Personal Information. In other words, our goal is to provide protection for your Personal Information no matter where that Personal Information is collected, transferred, or retained.

GDPR

The private personal data belonging to customers of Websavers are stored in the software called WHMCS, which in itself offers full compliance with GDPR as described here. Even prior to the introduction of the GDPR, we always ensured that our customers could access their own information at any time via our Client Centre. Included in this is the ability for Customers of Websavers Inc. to update or remove information at any time, including removal of any saved payment information.

Customer Personal Data vs. Web & Email Hosting Data

It should be noted that the GDPR’s concern is with the personal information of members of the EU and not their website data or emails. As such, our compliance extends only to the collection, storage, and ease-of-access to that personal information via our Client Centre.

It is not expected nor recommended for Customers of Websavers to store their personal information in their website hosting space, nor in their email. Web hosting spaces can be made insecure depending on how they are configured and email transmissions may not always be secure, although our servers are configured and regularly updated to use the latest security standards for both. Therefore the storage we provide as part of our hosting solutions are not to be used for storing personal data. This aligns with our Terms of Service including but not limited to paragraph #10: Responsibility for Content, such that the data uploaded to or created on Websavers Inc. servers is strictly the Customer’s responsibility.
